The S.S.Academy is a co-educational institution established on 7th Aug 1999. It is run by S.S.Trust, Patna (Bihar) an organisation registered under the Trust Registration Act.

The school began with 80 students and four teaching staff in 1999 at Ami (Saran). Ami is situated on the bank of the the holy river Ganges and is just 3 kms from Dighwara railway station towards west.

Today the institution is affiliated to CBSE, Delhi. Presently we have classes from Nursery to std. X with a strength of 1000 students and 35 teaching staffs.

The mission of the SSA is to provide an education that will eet the changes and challanges of the 21st century. Thus to create a new learning environment for a better society, the school aims and desires to obtain the following objectives :

• To provide a high standard of education under hte leadership of skilled teachers for children of all communities, irrespective of caste or religion, recognizing and maintaining the guiding principles of the government. Character and the discipline of the academy will be based on CCE – Continuous and Comprehensive Education.
• To prepare academically, socially, and morally disciplined children.
• To teach study and retrieval skills.
• To develop a program to provide a balance of arts, both visual arts and performing arts like music, dance, drama etc, and sports/physical education with the academic program.
